The State of Ohio raises the ranking of teams in 2023 after the commitment of the Tate

One of the biggest awards in the 2023 college football recruiting cycle was held on Monday as five-star receiver Carnell Tate from Chicago announced he would be playing college football in Ohio.

How did the ranking team react to Tate’s commitment?

As one would expect, the State of Ohio made a huge leap after starting the day that ranked 10th according to 247Sports. As you will see below, Tate’s commitment has been huge for a university that has done so much in recent years in the position of host.

See the updated ranking of the top 25 teams for the 2023 recruitment category below, following Tate’s commitment to the Buckeyes on June 20th.
