Blac Chyna is being asked to pay the Kardashian-Jenner family more than $ 390,000 in legal costs after losing a defamation case against them last month.

A new application from the legal team of Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner is asking Chyna, 34, for nearly $ 400,000 to cover the costs they say they spent on defamation.

The report, received by PEOPLE, shows that the total amount of all court costs – including jury fees, filing costs, “models, enlargements, photocopies of exhibits” and more – was $ 391,094.76.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Chyna’s lawyer, Lynne Ciani, said in a statement that “Kris Jenner’s attempt to financially destroy Angela White, the mother of Dream Kardashian’s granddaughter, will not work.”

“Under California law, costs are only awarded to defendants when they are wrong. In this case, a Los Angeles court ruled that defendant Kris Jenner falsely claimed that” Chyna hit s — from defendant Kylie Jenner falsely claimed that Chyna “would continue to use and physically abuse my brother.” The same Los Angeles court ruled that defendants Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and “Kylie Jenner did not act reasonably and in good faith to protect their own financial interests in the ‘Rob & Chyna’ show,” she continued.

Angela White’s goals in the trial were to prove that the statements of Kris and Kylie Jenner were false and that all four defendants did not act reasonably and in good faith about season 2 of “Rob & Chyna”. “White has achieved these goals of the trial, the defendants can not be considered ‘dominant parties’ under California law and can not recoup the whopping $ 391,000 court costs from Ms. White,” the statement concluded.

Chyna had sued Kris, Kim, Khloé and Kylie for deliberately interfering with her E! compared to the former reality series Rob & Chyna. Kim was eventually expelled from the suit before a jury found the Kardashian-Jenner family not guilty of defaming Chyna in May. No monetary compensation was awarded to the model.

Following the ruling, Chyna’s lawyer said she planned to appeal the ruling.

“The jury found that Chyna had not physically abused Rob Kardashian,” Ciani told the Associated Press. She added that “the court found that all four defendants had intentionally interfered in its contract with Network E!” and that “they will appeal the remaining questions”.

The defamation case is not the only legal process that Chyna and her lawyer are fighting against the Kardashians.

Earlier this month, Chyna’s former fiancé Rob Kardashian claimed that the model had agreed to drop a porn-revenge lawsuit against him, but has since withdrawn from the deal, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Ciani said: “Under California law, settlement talks are confidential. Rob Kardashian violated California law by revealing alleged details of ongoing settlement talks. Chyna is allowed under California’s revenge lawsuit against her ex-fiancé is pending. When and if a confidential agreement is reached, Chyna will notify the court first and then the media. “In the previous trial in April 2022, a Los Angeles court vehemently rejected Rob’s testimony that Chyna had physically abused him. The jury found that Chyna had not, in fact, physically abused Rob.”

Rob’s lawyers did not respond to a request for comment by PEOPLE at this time.
